Why somebody doesn't re-make this movie with today's special effects is beyond me. This was a great film.
You have bickering god's playing with the lives of their subjects. Zeus, the main man upstairs favors his son, Perseus.
Some other god gal (Andromeda?) gets jealous and seeks to ruin his day.
Poor Perseus (Herry Hamlin) has to fight some hardcore creatures to win the hand of the princess.
Trust me, he earns it. Try going up against Andromeda's son, Medusa, and the Kraken and see if you aren't shaking in your boots.
I found the owl everybody seems to hate to be reminiscent of R2-D2 from Star Wars with his clicking sounds.
Great creatures and great story. You know it's great because of how well you can still remember it years later.
Someone please re-make this, I guarantee you'll do well at the box office. |
