This movie was terrible!!!!! Jackie Mason makes it painfully obviuous that he is NOT Rodney Dangerfield, no matter how hard he tries to be. He tried the crude humor angle like Dangerfield, but he wasn't funny. He even tried to be a zen golfer like Chevy Chase, but he can't even get the "nuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuh" right when he is putting. PATHETIC!!! Dan Aykroid tries to play the Bill Murray like buffoon gopher killer character but even he can't pull it off like Murray did. Aykroid could have helped this movie a lot if he had been cast in a better part. Even so, Aykroid was still the funniest thing in this movie, but sadly not enough to help it much. Dont waste your time or money renting or buying this movie, unless you are overcome by morbid curiosity. If your thirst for golf movies is this bad, watch the original caddyshack a few more times. |
