Baseball, the way it really is. Slummin in the minor leagues. Life is cruel sometimes and other times, it can be worse. A veteran catcher still trying to get one more chance at the show demoted to spoonfeed a young pitcher who is all talent and no brains. Enter the veteran woman on the scene and there's a the movie. The interplay between this lover's triangle of personalities is incredibly amusing and also rings true. Without a doubt the best baseball movie ever. |
