If you think it's offensive, think again.

Blazing Saddles is, without a question, one of the funniest and comical movies of all time, a pure masterpiece. Many of the incosiderates posting about how the movie was offensive and that Mel Brooks is to blame, think again. Much of the script was indeed written by RICHARD PRYOR. In case you didn't realize, yes, Richard Pryor IS black. At least last time I checked. It indeed is a parody of western movies and a satire of racism. And you know why Brooks would be able to pull off satirizing racism-because the Jews have been through the same amount, if not MORE racism in their entire existence. And in case you didn't realize, there WERE blacks in the cast, there were black writers on the writing team, and the movie STARRED A BLACK MAN. It seems the only ignorant person here is YOU, for being so narrow minded. Having showed it to many of my friends (of whom are many different races, religions, AND sexual orientations), they thought the movie was hilarious. The movie is not simply a black/gay bash fest, but a satire. As Mel Brooks once said "wit is another of the world's weapons." When it comes down to it, all of you who think Blazing Saddles is offensive just can't take a joke. Love, Aaron.
