The cast of Black Rain includes the great Michael Douglas, Andy Garcia, Ken Takakura and the beautiful Kate Capshaw(Indiana Jones and the hidden temple).
The movie is about 2 New York detectives Nick Conklin and Charlie Vincent(Douglas & Garcia) who have to escort a killer named Sato back to Japan and then they unknowingly hand him over to his own crew who happened to be dressed as cops. Conklin and Vincent will not leave Japan until they have captured Sato and his goons who dressed as cops to get him out of their hands. Conklin and Vincent also get some much needed help from a Japanese cop named Masahiro Matsumoto who helps them out.
This is a pretty good movie with great acting from Michael Douglas, Andy Garcia and Ken Takakura but it's very slow at times and there are too many dialogues without translations in the movie. |
