An Underrated Movie

In my opinion "Black Rain" is one of the most underrated action films of all-time. The story is excellent, and is full of twists and turns(including some predictable ones). The acting in the film is on the whole very good. Michael Douglas gives a great performance as a "bad" cop and Andy Garcia is excellent as his partner Charlie Vincent. Garcia's character is one the audience can relate to as the good funny guy. His demise in the infamous parking garage scene is one of most suprising molments in the movie and probably one of the most unexpected and "unique" deaths in cinema history. "Black Rain" paints an interesting portrait of late 1980's Osaka, which is overflowing with bright lights and neon. As I said this movie is underrated, most people haven't even heard of it. Next time you can't find a movie to rent give it a try; you will enjoy it.
