This movie is truely beautiful. The idea of taking to drunks and making them falling love in is beautiful. The movie starts of with alcoholic poetry writer Henry drinking and fighting at his local bar the Golden Horn. After that it shows you the typical life of Henry over a few days. After loseing fights that he starts daily with Eddie, he finally wins one night. After winning, he recives a bit of money and heds to another bar. This is were he mets Wanda. Wanda is another drunk that has no life too. They get together and end up running from the cops after stealing corn. As days go buy it shows the life of these two trying to get jobs to by the next bottle of boz. Henry then starts gettin calls from Tully, who is a magazine editor who wants to publish Henrys work.He ends up meeting up with her. The movie then dives in to jealousy and wonderful drama. Ill leave my review with that and let you see what happens next. See this movie, it is truely great. |
