I read about Bad Taste in a magazine saying it was one of the goriest movies the author had seen. The director peaked my interest. After some deep soul searching, and reviewing all his other films, I found Bad Taste.
This movie, next to Concrete Angels, is by far Peter Jackson's best film.
It was so funny and completly absured that it made me laugh tears. It was almost making fun of the genre by attacking the North American stereotypes of zombie movies from a safe distance. (New Zealand)
If you thought those embarassments to the Academy Awards, (LOTR) were good movies; than take a look at Peter Jackson's core directing abilities and you too will learn to hate LOTR by seeing how badly Jackson has abandoned his past.
