Ever get the urge to see a sheep blown up by a rocket? Ever want to see aliens try to get humans to fund their intergalactic fast food chain? No? Then this isn't for you. It's gory gory gory nonsense from Pre-Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson and to me it's jaw-droppingly hilarious. Imagine Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Specifically the Black Knight scene) on acid. It's great. Dead Alive was good too, but I kind of favor this sick puppy because of...The Beatles mobile. No that's not the only reason, Derek's final confrontation with the alien master is cool too. This chainsaw action puts Evil Dead to shame. If you like splatter flicks, where blood runs down the screen in a down right fake way, coating everything in sight, you'll love this. I know I did. |
