and panicked through much of the film, but you can't help but love it, thinking of finding yourself in his shoes. On his wedding day, he finds that his two lovable aunts put lonely men out of their
"misery" by poisoning them with elderberry wine and burying them in the cellar. His crazy uncle lives with them and his crazy brother escapes from the prison for the insane. Peter Lorre is in great form as the insane brother's henchman. Cary Grant fears it's only a matter of time before he goes crazy as well. It's a nonstop whirlwind of keeping the crazies at bay, the bride patient, and the cops from the door. A remake could star Matthew Perry, I think. |
