Well, when this was released back in 1997 we were living in the times of Bill Clinton and politics was a much less serious business. At a time when America is coming to believe that they may have been conned into waging a war it now seems much less like comedy and much more like vicious satire. A film before its time in the worst possible way, I have an awful suspicion this is closer to fact than anyone in 1997 would want to believe. |
