Interesting in the Least

While the visuals are less then moving, the character and performance of Jude Law thankfully riveting. The best scene in the entire movie, and perhaps the most memorable, is when Jude's character draws the portrait of the woman and writes a poem about her, using both hands at the same time, without looking. If the rest of the movie was a flop, that scene was worth it all, and maybe the only part I remember. Jude's performance in less than norm movies never ceases to amaze me, and I'm sure this movie would have been far better, had Jude and the character he played not been the only attention-grabbing aspects it. |
