Call it what you like, but "Rocky Horror" is the greatest musical film of all time. It may have been one of the biggest bombs in history but this film has started what we now call the genre of "CULT FILMS". This movie is so misunderstood byt those close minded people who cna never have anyfun just watching a movie and enjoying even though the acting and film itself is chessy and off the wall. But one must look deep inside to find the meaning behind "Rocky". Its resprsents the sexual revolution brought out by the late 60's and how it had affected the youth of America, while laid out in the backdrop of honoring the classic horror films of the early 30's, 40's, and 50's. This film should be in some movie museum or even th Smithsonian for christ sakes. |
