The Zorro that caught me on Zorro! Wonderful, beautiful story and excelent music. I was doubtful when I went to see it, never having heard of the story, but when I went, I came out awed. Later I discovered the Walt Disney Zorro series to be even better, watched the movie again now "Zorro versed." I was a little less enthusiastic, but that is only because the Disney series with Guy Williams took my breath away with it's intricate plots, wonderfully talented cast (Guy fits the role just right and you can hardly catch him acting with his charm), and extrodinary attention to detail. A real time machine! The Mask of Zorro captures some of the spirit very strongly too, but at times, you just know that Guy got it right and it was a one-time prime performance. |
