This movie was absolutely incredible. I have to say that 1999 is THE GREATEST year for movies. 1999 is responsible for 4 of my A+ movies, and they are all up their for my favorites, and I have seen a lot of movies. The Insider, American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, and Princess Mononoke make 1999 the best year for movies in history. I thought that nothing that year should have kept American Beauty from sweeping the top 5 awards but I have to say that this movie is close to taking Best Picture and Best Director and that it really should have taken Best Actor because this is Russel Crowe's finest performance (Sorry Kevin Spacey you were great too). This movie is over 2 hours and 30 minutes and yet it managed to keep me interested even though I started watching it past 11 at night. This movie was absolutely amazing and everyone should see this movie! |
