can't beat the cast and the storm is chillingly beautiful. the story is slow and quiet but it has many truths in it that are both funny and sad. i'm still creeped out by the visuals of christina ricci as a very 'mature' little girl. loved elijah wood as mickey. he's such a etherial doof. and siguorny weaver is wicked in this role. overall i liked the movie but its more of an 'admiration' or 'appreciation' than an actual 'enjoyment' kind of like

best lines: "you left?", "if you never want to see me again, then why are you following me?" |
