One would think that with three hot actors like those featured on the poster of Martin Scorcese's "The Grifters", you can't go wrong. Well, you can. The first ten minutes of the movie were great. They made the viewer believe that this was going to be a swanky film sith lots of con artist capers and slick secret agent type stuff. The movie has no real plot. John Cusak is angry, Anette Bening is naked, and Anjelica Huston is pissed off the whole time. The worst performance of each of their respective careers. |
