This is, in my opinion, the best picture of all time in the action movie category, comparable to Star Wars Sega or even better. It is the Star Wars-Die Hard combo!
The movie is filled with exciting imagination of the 23rd century. Its plot is original, the clothing fashion is wild,the action is cool, and the jokes are out-of-this-world funny.
The plot of the movie is the battle of the good against the evil, only the good is an alien race and the evil is a mysterious dark planet. Every 5,000 years evil will strike Earth and wipe out Life. The only weapon against evil consists of 4 stone elements (water, fire, wind, earth) and the fifth element. The weapon is stolen, and Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis) has to save the world by retrieving it. The adventure begins.
This movie is so well-made, and the director paid attention to little details even on the background where not many people notice. I have seen this movie at least 20 times. Still, I can always notice something new. There are many ironies presented in this movie. For example,the US president is black, the whites are cab drivers and labor workers,Indian immigrants are pilots and celebrities are gay.
Bottom line is this is a good movie many people have never seen. Go see it. |
