The Cider House Rules is one of the most poignant film I have ever seen. This story follows the life of an orphan named Homer Wells who was raised and cared by Dr. Larch. It follows Homer Wells'life at St. Clouds Orphanage and then his desire to leave St. Clouds to explore the world outside. While life away from St. Clouds Homer discovers and experiences a world he's never quite encountered before. You'll be moved by stories of betrayals, tragies, love, suffering, faith and destiny faced by the human spirits. Homer's life is enriched by the love and care of people at St. Clouds and his identity determined by those he meet outside St. Clouds. A wonderful, brilliant and very moving tale of growing pains. |
