I was required to watch this for my film class. I was pleasantly surprised! I had never seen it before, and was really creeped out.
I guess it's only Hitchcock that can make something that is so innocent like birds and turn them into something to be terribly afraid of.
I remember as a child watching the Hitchcock hour on Nick at Night -- when it was the black and white tv shows.
I had forgotten all about his cinematic style and how he can make anything at all scary!
