The Big Lebowski transcends the typical boundaries of slapstick humor, and replaces them with a deeper, more meaningful cinematic work. The acting in this movie is more than simply well done. John Goodman performs in one of the most hilarious comedy roles to date, and Jeff Bridges undergoes the transformation to "The Dude" easily. A brilliant movie with a great punchline, constant laughs, and stereotype-knocking gags make this a must see. I also recommend: Office Space and Snatch. |
