again i find myself reading peoples reviews and shaking my head, worst movie by leo, bad story, all the things i hear and none of what this movie is. i saw trainspotting and it was a good movie, the bizarre way the peoples take on druggs was intersting. and after seeing 28 DAYS LATER, i wanted to see more of DANNY BOYLES work. so i checked out THE BEACH,boy was i surprised. the story was kinda lame, but the more the movie rolled along the more i got into it,i found out this film was more about the struggles the people themsleves go through while living on the beach, more than what other reviewers where saying. i cant stand leo and all the hype he gets as a great actor, but in this film he was good as were all the rest of the cast, they did a good job with what they were given. |
