Impossible to resist

If you're a boomer you either were in a garage band or knew someone in one or were the fan of one, it's a fact! And let us not forget The Beatles. This movie had an infectious enthusiasim I can't imagine anyone resisting. It seems to have been a "small" movie, in that it really didn't get a lot of hoopla or an extended run in the movie houses. It has been on television pretty regularly I think, and I for one watch it when it's on. The music is catchy and the story seems realistic to me, although in the name of brevity some scenes are a bit contrived. If you love rock'n'roll you can't resist this fun look at the mad rollercoaster career of a one-hit wonder band in the '60s. |
