Of all the spandex-clad, super-powered beings to make their way to the big screen, Superman was maybe the most obvious choice. He had it all back in the thirties and by golly he still has it today in the new millinium. Case in point-Superman 2. This film sets the standard by which all other superhero flicks will be judged. It has great acting all around, a superb story, and (probably THE single most important thing a superhero movie needs if its going to fly <wink>)...REALLY COOL SUPERVILLIANS! Terrance Stamp knocks it outta the park with his portrayl of the evil General Zodd. Worth repeated viewings! |
