The best film to walk across the earth about men, men dressing up as women and women loving men and men loving women and men loving men. It's a wonderful comedy with superb jokes that freddy crooger could enjoy. It's a wonder that an 11 year old like me could enjoy it; but that just means it is hilarious for all ages! The comedy is cute and makes sense; none of that stupid love/sex comedies that really has no comedy at all. It's entertaining and fun for everyone. I know I sound cheesy, but the truth is this movie IS as wonderful and funny as I am making it out to be...it is my favorite. Marilyn Monroe is sexy and adorably sweet as usual in her role as Sugar, a terrific singer who is running away from dreamy saxophone players who keep breaking her heart. Jack Lemmon is probably my favorite though. He gives the whole movie life and his jokes are what make the movie fun. Tony Curtis does a wonderful job vocally in his role as Joe/Josephine. He is truly gifted and a cute toughie in the movie. I recommend this movie to anyone, even if you hate comedy. |
