It's been awhile since I saw this movie, but I love it. It's an interesting story about fate.
Movies about fate are always fun to watch because after the movie, it makes us wonder about the outcome of our lives and how change is truly a mind of its own.
In the case of Sliding Doors, Gwyneth Paltrow's character in London misses a train. This movie is about two parallel stories. One where she gets on the train, and, the other where she doesn't get on the train.
That airtight plot makes the viewer intrigued as to what's to come. What's powerful about the story is that it appeals to both the sadist, who loves bad endings and the humanitarian who loves "happily ever after."
Because of the great story idea, I give this an A. Paltrow was stunning in her performance. |
