This movie is really cool. Anne Heche and Harrison Ford were perfect in this film. I'm glad this film made $74,000,000 dollars at the box office. Basically, it's about a young female magazine writer who goes on vacation with her loving boyfriend to the South Pacific. On the way to their final destination from the mainland, the couple meet a pilot who is around his late 40's or 50's. Later on, she gets an unbelievable surprise from her boyfriend as he proposes to her. She says yes and can't believe her eyes. But then later, her boss calls saying she needs her to go to Tahiti to do a photo shoot with someone. So she pays the pilot to fly her back to Tahiti. On the way, they head into a storm and crash land on a large island. Now that they're stuck together, they have to live with it and find a way off the island. During the film, they begin to fall in love with each other as they try to survive the jungle regions, deadly creatures, and even vicious pirates who continue to try to kill them. This movie is really good. If you like movies about islands or romance or whatever, also watch the show "Lost". It's even better. |
