I can't begin to explain how insulted, degraded and overall "dirty" I felt after sitting through this movie. Yes, I wanted to leave, but my now ex-wife refused to budge. OK, the actual plot is relavent and easy to understand. It is however ridiculously portrayed and revoltingly blanketed in f-bombs and violent rape scenes. I don't care how "real" this may or may not be. The French Revolution was very "real" but I didnt buy tickets to watch it either. The metaphoric decapitated heads roll forth in this movie like sewage passing through a treatment plant to sea. It's just non-stop until you gag and throw up or pass out from the stench. Sure, you see alot, and I mean ALOT of the star naked in this movie and may get a chuckle out of thinking you saw "Saved by the Bell" naked. OK, that fades away in like, 3 seconds and you are left with another 90 minutes of "Why me God, why me?" to contemplate as Nomi makes her way from gutter trash to slightly better paid brass pole trash to even slightly better paid feature dancer on stage. Yeah...Congratulations. You are the most famous talked about naked chick in Vegas this month. Mom will be proud...That's not even as newsworthy as the new round of hookers this week at the Bunny Ranch. And about as entertaining as well. Why was this movie made??? |
