Being a big poker fan myself I watched this movie with great anticipation. Once again, Damon and Norton, don't fail to impress me with their acting talents over and over again. The story is quite simple and probably the worst part of this very good movie, a retired Rounder (card shark) is pushed back into the game by his best friend fresh out of jail. The story is somewhat anti-climatic but the directing and the acting just blow that out of the water. Overall a very cool movie that should please crowds and make you more interested next time World Series of Poker is on ESPN. |
