Modern comedy romance, with young career woman (Jennifer Aniston) needing a man to show her boss she is stable. But there seems nobody around for this very attractive woman, other than the office romeo.
Although definitely in the vien of many other comedy romances, the story here is actually quite creative and fresh. Aniston is also good as the slightly ditsy but driven business woman. There are also universally good support actors.
Yes, it is a good movie, but not without flaws. Although the general story idea is good, there seems a lot of small things that keeps this from taking off to any emotional heights.
Just like "Friends" on TV, I cannot not like this breezy occasionally funny and moving movie. However, like "Friends" it still seems a little too contrived and shallow. |
