Actually, this is an alright film, although it does play off the 'King Kong' motif. Taking a friendly giant and mix it with 'evil' poachers can be a little odd at times. But it works to the storyline's advantage when dealing with a personal vendetta.
What would have made this film better is if Joe Young died at the end instead of somehow surviving. Add a little Joe to it and it would have made more sense. Still, its somewhat worthy. |
