Carrey's finest work... truly incredible!

Jim Carrey did a great job with Andy. This remains one of my all time favorite movies... Carrey did a great job with Andy, I think all the acting in this movie was perfect. This is one of the very few unflawed movies that I have ever seen...
The story isn't quite as important as how it was told, in the beginning Andy is a young child entertaining his younger sister with a stupid animal song. In the next scene, Andy is a full grown man, entertaining spectators in a comedy club with the same animal song he sung while he was a kid (ohhh... the cow goes... moo! and the dog goes... woof!) As the movie progresses we watch as Andy gets famous, and how his character changes throughout the story. It's remarkable.
The Visuals on the other hand were not quite as stunning as those in The Matrix... but crazy special effects were not necessary to make the story incredible... The fights looked real and that is all I care about.
The story telling was incredible, I've never seen anything movie that did quite as good of a job telling a story as this one... It was brilliant. Defiantly Jim Carrey's finest work! |
