I remember when I went to my cousins house, we didn't know what to do, we were bored out of our minds. Then we decided, "why not rent a movie?" So we got on our bikes and strolled down to the local video store. My cousins wanted to get all comedies. Nothing was wrong with that. So we were looking around and we saw a movie called "man on the moon." We saw it starred Jim Carrey so the first thing that came to mind was, Jim Carrey is the funniest man alive so why not get this, this should be funny. So we went back to there house and we put in Man on the Moon. The first part of it was funny but it didn't take that much time to find out it was a drama. I was shocked and appaud by Mr. Carrey's performance. The movie had a great story for a drama. When I was done watching to movie I thought that this kind of serious role can really change the life of people's reaction to movies forever. I liked the movie but my cousins didn't. They asked me how can you like this movie? It was boring, and stupid. The first thing that came to mind was no it wasn't stupid. Then my other cousin said you have to admit it was pretty boring. Then I replied again I don't have to admit anything. The point I am trying to make is that if you like drama's this is the movie for you, if not then no. I give this movie ****1/2/***** |
