What can I say about this movie except that it is a work of art in my opinion. It's sexy and seductive. I loved the spoken word...gosh Larenz Tate really put it down. Larenz and Nia Long had sizzling onscreen chemistry. The script was well-written and just worked for me. It's a modern, urban romance...and I loved it. Definitely worth adding to the DVD library if for no other reason, but to hear Larenz recite "A Blues for Nina"...HOT! I kept rewinding...definitely makes you want to seek out one of those dark, smokey, joints...and just sip martinis and listen all night to melodic sonnets of love and passion. |
