I like this movie. Why? I don't know. Why do I like Picasso or Dali or any other painting that doesn't make any sense? Why do the same people that hate Lynch movies and insult those that like his movies for no reason, also like Picasso and Dali?
We have paintings and music out there that are abstract and we love it, but for some reason when a movie comes out like this, everyone starts picking on those who like these movies, calling us SNOBS and EMPTY PRETENTIOUS JERKS. Can't we just be people who like weird ass movies? We've all seen the same horror movies redone 3325325 times in a row and there really isn't much left out there to scare us. What's wrong with a movie like Lost Highway?
We are people whose eyes and ears are sick of seeing the same carbon copy Ben Assfleck and Julia Roberts carbon copy movies written by a hollywood monkeys.
My name is Brian.. and this is why I'm a David Lynch fan. If you don't like it, stop whining. There are plenty of other movies out there. Go see them instead. |
