Guy Ritchie's predecessor to his better-known crime caper "Snatch" is an action-packed, wickedly hilarious ride. A group of friends pool all their money together so Eddie, a master at card-playing, can participate in a high stakes poker game. It turns out the game is rigged, so the group of eccentric characters plan to steal the marijuana of their drug-laundering neighbors.
An excellent film all around, briskly paced with fine acting and a cool soundtrack. The ending had me practically rolling on the floor laughing. |
