THe humor in it was like AWESOME.... it was funny but exaggerated in sucha way that even though it might look like stupid humor it is still so funny that you wanna laugh ur ass off.
But its just not the humor which makes it a very good movie (and all-time best) it actaully the story itself.... the lesson whcih u learn.. the theme of the movie because when u watch it it just shows that although lying could be used once in awhile its better to use the truth most of the time which JiM Carrey's character learns later on... the story and the spirit of the character give you the sense that he cares but also gives u the sense that he is very careless about what he does.
The story was simple but twisted to make it funny and easy to understand. I loved the way in how the stories outcomes are made (like when jim carrey still wins the the trial even though he coudln't lie at all or ask any quesitons he knows that will come out as a lie). The humor was used sensibly to make people laugh and it just seems that i never get sick of it (watched it around 7-8 times and sitll laugh A LOT)
Acting was BRILLIANT by jim carrey.... he tells the audience very quickly of the character he is. thE FUNNY BITS were probably the best though beause its very hard to make them look like as though if he were acutally doiung it for real which meant some very hard work had to be done to get the acts right.. The other actos did their roles as well but lots of credit to Jim.....
Direction... yeap went well.... the story took place in two days... this is good length and makes it easier to understand so it does't JUMP AROUND a lot to confuse u... builds up the tension and humor bit by bit.
Not many visuals but everything was what it had to be.
Overall the A+ is for the humor in the story and the story and how well the story was built up to give u the moral and the lesson being learnt in this movie.... |
