Good story but...

The movie basically follows Dalai Lama's biography, ant it reproduces the Tibet cultures scenes well. But Dalai's book is only his view of the history and the movie even neglects some of the important parts from the book. If interested, reading history of events from all sides including from the red China would help giving a more complete picture and balanced view. It's not always believable and helpful to claim someone as pure evil and the other party as pure good. |
