I watched this movie because I had recently seen Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs for the first time (I know, its crazy.) I got into a huge Tarantino phase and started watching everything he had either written or directed. I had soon seen everything major he had done except for Jackie Brown. So I bought it on ebay and anxiously awaited its arrival. Finally it came and I watched it that night. Oh my god it was great. The story is incredible. It’s full of suspense that keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. It’s not filled with action, but the story is so exciting and like all Tarantino films it has hilarious and interesting dialog so the movie is never boring. The directing is great cause, you know, its Tarantino. It has some of his signature shots like the camera in the trunk angle and the shot of the listeners face while someone is talking to them rather than showing the person who is talking. The acting is very good. Samuel L and Pam Grier are perfect. Everything is good about the movie. It is a definite must see to any Tarantino fan or movie fan in general. |
