"Gone With the Wind" was remarkable, but I love it because of Vivien Leigh's brilliant performance. She gives the best performance by an actress ever. She is beautiful, spoiled, greedy and mean. And I loved every bit of her. I can watch this movie over and over again and relate to her problems. Clark Gable is a hoot as Rhett Butler and Olivia de Havilliand and Hattie McDaniel turn in fine supporting performances. "Gone With the Wind" is the best movie ever made. I rank it #1. My other 4 top films ever made are "The Shining", "Thelma & Louise", "Casablanca" and "Star Wars". |
