An opportunity to realize there are more of us out there who can feel lost for a while. This is an beautiful an thrilling story about two girls who go through a time where they cannot answer society's demands, (something so common today AND then, but only now, outspoken) and that has turned them isolated and almost forgotten. Nevertheless, they can find comfort and understanding between them, rather than just pills and confinement. Lisa's outrageous personality and institutionalization at first scare Susanna, but once she understans her and the rest of the girls at the hospital, she is charmed by Lisa's character and identifies herself with her. She get a chance to express whats been inside her for a while. This makes Susanna kind of think she has fallen in love with Lisa... I won't tell you the ending, but I highly recommend it. All I can say is that they are just girls, interrupted, but at the end girls again. Excellent movie. They couldn't have chosen better actresses. |
