This wasn't as good as the book, but Johnny Depp playing Raul Duke was in my opinion one of his best performances. He is probably the best actor of our time. It definatley showed Hunter S. Thompson in a different light compared to Bill Murray's version "Where the Buffalo Roam". It also shows in great detail the what an Acid trip or Mescaline trip is really like, without making the actors look like they're making fun of people hallucinating. |
