This movie is one of the best ever. Smith's best ever for sure. Funny, great story, and not afraid to steer up controversy. Even though it's contraversy is not deserved. Religious people who haven't even seen the film are calling it blasphemous. But if they'd watch it they'd see it's not. Like Kevin Smith says, God has a sense of humor, and I think even he enjoys this movie.

Two fallen angels sentenced to spend the rest of eternity in Wisconsin, until judgement when they will have to sit outside heaven's gates, have found a way back into heaven, however that means that God is wrong therefore ending the world as we know it. So the last decendent of Jesus Christ, Linda Fiorentino, is called upon to stop them. Along the way she is joined by two profits, Jay and Silent Bob themselves Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, and the 13th Apostle, Chris Rock, left out of the bible because he is black. They run across some trouble in the form of a muse turned Demon played by Jason Lee in probably his best performance to date.

If you are too uptight in your religion to believe that dick and fart jokes as well as foul language have no place in this type of movie, then by all means don't watch, but don't criticize either. If you're not, then watch it, you will enjoy it thouroughly.
