Why did I despise this film? Do you have time? Let's see: it's a bunch of crypto-fascist nonsense where, when faced with the end of existence, the manniquins masquerading as characters move from one manufactured moment of schmaltz to another--all as we wait for the comet to hit the planet, hopefully, so all of these people would shut the hell up.
Here's what's bad: when you have a movie like this and you're disappointed that the comet didn't kill more people, then you know that the filmmakers dropped the ball big time |
