Potentially.
- Needles that insert knowledge and skills directly into the brain.
- Strange, suspicious men in dark leather suits chasing the hero.
- A world which is totally controlled by other beings, and can be changed in any way they want, while the human inhabitants are un-aware.
- A human hero who somehow has the power to control the machines, and change the world as he sees fit.
No that is not from the matrix, but from Dark City, a movie that was released well before the Matrix!!!!
