One of the best films ever

Maybe because I was involved with a theater company that was shut down by a local government, but I really related to this film. Definitely in my top 5 of all time. The acting was tremendous, the writing superb, and the last 20 minutes of the fim is as good a piece of moviemaking as I've ever seen. You can definitely see Altman's influence in Tim Robbin's exuberant direction. A great, sadly unappreciated, gem of American cinema. If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it. If you have, see it again. It's that good! |
