slightly outdated, still poignant

It seems that people view the musical itself as outdated now, however; this movie isn't the musical itself, it's about the time and people surrounding the musical. I thought that the acting was very good in this, parts slightly confused me, but hey, that might be an affect. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in our country's political and theatrical history. I found Bill Murray's sub-plot character quite odd, but he did a great job as a facist vantriloquist. ( have to watch it to understand.) |
