Cradle Rocks You
by James G (movies profile)
Oct 28, 2004
Orson Welles and John Housseman collaborated in the 30s to make a broadway play sponsored by government money which criticized, amongst other things, the government. Needless to say, the government did everything they could to stop the production. The re-telling of this tale makes an interesting movie, and the performance by Angus MacFadyen as a young Welles makes it even better. Definitely worth the price of admission. |
