Simply put, this movie is perfect.
Sometimes you hear someone say about an old movie "they don't make 'em like that anymore!" Well, it's true about Casablanca. My parents were not born when this movie was released, so this is not the talk of some misty-eyed eighty year old. When I rented it recently, I was not at all surprised after watching why it consistently tops most best-ever lists.
I recently read that someone was considering a remake, but I can't figure out what you could do to improve on the original. And you simply will not find better actors for any role.
