I understand where the movie was going, but its direction was dull and bland. I did not watch this entire movie...I saw approximately 62 minutes...because I got bored and tired. The brother bond was interesting and funny during the beginning, but once they started fighting and going on it got pointless. And I don't think Minnie Driver played a good part...she definitely did not fit the role. Overall, I was disappointed. I was expecting more humor...albeit dry...and more of an interesting story of two italians who struggled to survive in America. Would I recommend? Probably not. If you're bored and have nothing else to watch, give it a try...but just to warn, it will probably put you to sleep. |
